... and have been since 1976, the year they came into the league. In Super Bowl XXXVII, the Bucs beat the Oakland Raiders to win their first championship in franchise history.
I thought that was a great game, but tonight? I think tonight was the best Super Bowl I have ever had the pleasure of watching and the first one in years I have watched until the last play was over.
I was rooting for the Patriots (anything or anyONE to get the whiney-ass '72 Dolphins to shut the fuck up) but I have to give props to the New York Football Giants.
Best.Super Bowl. EVAH!

well, you know the boy and i were rooting for the patriots to have a perfect record but the giants played their hearts out and earned the win, dammit. even me with my utterly limited knowledge of the game could see it was a well fought contest.

I've been a Giant fan ever since I moved to New York 44 years ago. This win was especially gratifying, because almost no one gave them a chance. WTF, why not? The Giants had the Patriots beat in week 17 and then loosing by just 3 points in that game. Also the Giants were on a roll beating teams they weren't given a chance against either. Only a fool didn't think it was possible for the Giants to win or at least make it a close game. Who's laughing now ye of little faith? LOL, I know I am.

All I did was laugh and laugh at the end of that game. As a Broncos fan it is my nature to cheer for the underdog.
