Stupid Single Guy ...
Confusion, ancient Oriental wise man, once say "When blogger make no sense, randomosity is created in post." Thus is it written in The Book of Literarians, Chapter 7 verse 16.
1) Okay .. the smoking thing is going okay ... so far, but I'm sure I'll find some way to screw it up.
2) The wife moved out of the house yesterday. She was in tears and didn't even tell me goodbye. She did talk to the boys before she left. I called her to ask where she was and she told me "On my way." I said "Without even saying goodbye?" She cried more, told me she talked to the boys but she couldn't tell me goodbye. Some are surprised that I expect any civility or other normal form of non-hate filled societal behavior and feelings from her. Am I fucking nuts? Am I totally wrong?
3)Third, I wash the dishes prior to putting them in the dishwasher. I don't rinse them off, I basically wash them clean, THEN put them in the dishwasher. They come out covered in oil and grease. Does anybody know what the fuck is going on here? It looks clean on the inside, the water is not backing up, there is no insinkerator or other garbage disposal attached. I need HELP! or ideas at least.
4) If we can figure that out, then I will need help figuring out what the hell is leaking from my fridge. It isn't the overflow tray and there is no ice maker attached, but every couple of days water fills the depression under my crisper drawers and begins leaking out the corner of the fridge.
"For it is given unto those with awesome hand tools and the knowledge of how to use them to help the meek and ungainly figure out what the fuck is happening in their houses." The book of Home Depotians, Chapter 13 Verse 3-6.
Can I get a hand in the air and an "AMEN" from the Home Deposians? Brothers and sisters it has been written that "God helps those who know what the fuck they are doing and deign to share that knowledge with the infirm of mind or experience." Book of Stupidity, Chapter 19, verse 23-30. It's been written, it's been said, now how about giving a tool-less unclean village idiot a hand ... or at least idea. Praise Confusion from whom all blessings flow.
Amen
Now I'm off to chase a few women on the Island of Lesbos. I figure I'm bound to find a few bi-curious members of that stellar society. Wish me luck and remember ...

So dude, if water is collecting in the bottom of the fridge but there is no water in the pan underneath, my first thought is that the drain in the bottom of the fridge is clogged and the water can't get to the pan. Also, is the fridge cooling properly? If the seal is bad on the door it will cause more water to condense. You can check the seal by using a dollar bill. Open the door, put the bill halfway in, close the door and pull it out. You should feel resistance. Try this all the way around the doors. Good luck!

1. glad to hear it is at least 'ok' avoiding a 12 state killing spree is good.
2. hhmm, well. civility would have been nice. i dunno what to say there. i understand why YOU expected it. given what you've told me i think i'm not surprised by what she did.
3. tommy dear, you are confusing the dishwasher. it expects to return them in the state opposite of which they were received. if you put them in clean, of course they have to come out dirty.
4. now this is a serious answer, we had this problem with our fridge in trinidad. there was some sort of spongelike thingy in the freezer (not where you could see it, i think it insulated between the freezer and fridge sections) that became saturated due to living in a warm climate and the freeze defrost cycle. when it was totally soaked we started having the same puddling situation occur. once we had that bit changed out it was fine.
5. where the hell is #5, you skipped right to #6
6. glad someone helped ya.
7. please do me a favor and stop by my place today. i have some happy news. let me know ya've been there too ok?
love ya, MWAH!

I checked the internet and found many web sites with information about repairing and troubleshooting appliances. Here are some of the things I learned.
Rinsing the dishes before loading them in the dishwasher is not necessary and may even be harmful to them. When the dishes are very clean, the soap has nothing to attack, so it attacks the finish of the dishes. There are several things that could cause your dishes to come out with a film on them; water temp too low; not using a rinse agent, especially if you have hard water; or just try changing to a new detergent.
There are very few reasons for a refrigerator to leak. The ice maker connection or hose, but since you don't have one, that can't be the problem. Another cause is a leaky or misaligned drain pan. A visual inspection and then a leak test in the sink can rule that out too. The last is condensation from leaky door gaskets. Either the door doesn't close properly or the gaskets are dirty.
Hope this helps you solve your problems.

Quit trying to use motor oil as your dish detergent & get yourself some new appliances :)
I use the Cascade & Dawn Action Tab combo things...they work great!
Maybe the freezer & fridge just need to defrost & take a break for a couple of days?
