Today? I took my first dose of Chantix. I set my quit date for next Friday. They say I will be done in 12 weeks. We'll see but I am gonna do this. And still? Tommy sans nicotine? Be afraid ... be very afraid.

Good luck to you! I am so envious and hopefully I'll gather that same much needed courage soon. My darling has been a week smoke free now and I am so proud of him :) take care Tommy!
I'm trying now, but I keep getting around friends that still smoke and end up smoking at least one night during the week! Ugh! I guess that's better then a pack a day. Let me know how the meds go. My doc talked to me about taking them, but I wanted to wait and try it on my own. LOL! Good Luck!!! :)
