Pondering the mysteries of the universe ...

All I'm asking is ... if you have to wash the dishes BEFORE putting them in the dishwasher, what's the fucking point? Can somebody please explain that to me?

Edit: I understand what you guys are saying about rinsing. I didn't make myself clear. I either have to wash them (more than a rinse but without soap) before I put them in, or end up washing them AGAIN when they come out. Half of them are spotless the other half look like they haven't been touched. It baffles me.

Why did the Howells take so much luggage on a 3 HOUR TOUR? Life is full of mystery!

RINSE. You RINSE them. That's not the same as washing. Washing requires soap.

Yep, you RINSE them so your dishwasher doesn't have to work so hard and lasts longer...at least that is the reason I was given when I asked the same thing. (((TG)))

THAT is the very reason I think dishwashers are over-rated.

That's why there's a heavy duty cycle!!! 'course that after you lose the big chunks - LOL!

hey, i could not agree with you any more. personally, i don't even want to rinse anything off except for chunks maybe.

I con friends and family into scrubbing the buggers. I hate dishwashers.

I'm baffled myself and I'm not even there.

;)

Love ya!

Uh, T, your dishwasher ain't working right. You might want to get it fixed so you don't have to wash your dishes by hand.

Just saying.
