Good and bad news ...
Just found out I wasn't selected for that job I applied for in Irving, Tx. Bad news for me but I'm sure it makes a couple of people very happy. Sometimes it doesn't seem like I can buy a fucking break. Again karma coming back to bite me in the ass ... well either that or God just hates me and has it in for me. Sorry I'm such a fucking whiny bitch but that's the way this makes me feel. Ah, fuck it. I'll be better tomorrow or the next day. Happy Halloween ya'll.

You never know, Tommy. Not getting the job could be the best thing that ever happened to you. Sometimes things suck in the short term, but that's only because you don't know that a better job is coming along next week, or an opportunity to meet someone wonderful, or...well, who knows?

I'm sorry you didn't get the job, but it really may turn out for the best. I was laid off after 17 years with a company and thought that was the end of the world. I was 52 years old and worked in an industry that was dieing here on Long Island. I applied for some pretty good jobs, but didn't get any of them. Then I just as my severance ran out, I got the best job I ever had in my life.
