Sorry about the week ...

Sorry I haven't been around since Tuesday. I know you missed me but the week just got nucking futz at work. i hope to do a lot of blogging this weekend and catch up with everybody. Until then here's a bit of one of my current favorite singles. I't by Little Big Town. It's called "Bring it on Home" and It's just kinda the way I feel right now. Have a great weekend all!

When your long day is over
And you can barely drag your feet
When the weight of the world
Is on your shoulders
I know what you need
Bring it on home to me

Baby, let me be your safe harbor
Don't let the water come
And carry you away

When your long day is over
And you can barely drag your feet
When the weight of the world
Is on your shoulders
I know what you need
Bring it on home to me

C'mon home baby. I'll take care of it.

Wish somebody would say that to me... "I'll take care of it"

Hey! Guess what? I'm commenting. Be fucking happy.

That is an awesome song. I'm with Wenchy. I'd love someone to say that to me... and mean it.

Great song TG, one of my current favs. Hope you have a great weekend, hon.

ohhhhh that would be awesome...
She would be a lucky girl:)

Hey Tommy.....I'll just bet you do know how to take care of it! ;)

and i think the one i'd use as the counterpart would be norah jones 'turn me on'

Like a flower
Waiting to bloom
Like a lightbulb
In a dark room
I'm just sitting here waiting for you
To come on home and turn me on

Like the desert waiting for the rain
Like a school kid waiting for the spring
Im just sitting here waiting for you
To come on home and turn me on

My poor heart
It's been so dark
Since you've been gone
After all you're the one who turns me off
You're the only one who can turn me back on

My hi-fi is waiting for a new tune
My glass is waiting for some fresh ice cubes
I'm just sitting here waiting for you
To come on home and turn me on

love that song.

sorry the week was so bonkers. hope you get a rest soon.
